Coke La Rock aka the Father Emcee, Hip-Hop’s First MC,/Emcee/Rapper is coming to Atlanta on Friday July 18th, 2025 for a once-in-a-lifetime event presented by Recording Business. Known as the first person ever to take the mic and “emcee” over breakbeats in the Bronx, Coke La Rock is the man who helped lay the foundation for the entire genre of Rap/Hip-Hop music. Coke’s visit to the city is a rare opportunity to experience the living legend who played such a critical role in Hip-Hop’s birth back in August 11th, 1973.
